'Ned' 3 String Box Guitar

Ned, a questionable character or Australian icon? Maybe a bit of both. However, this idea for a box guitar will be awesome. The layout of the guitar will be in reference to The Kelly Gang leader's steel helmet. There will be a rectangular sound hole to mimic the eye slot in the helmet and the brass sound holes on the rear upper bout will be opposite the volume and tone control which represent the bolts that held the face plate on to the helmet. 

We will be using a red oak neck coupled with an oak fretboard with dark stain at the 3,5,7,9,12,15,17th frets so you know where you are going. We will utilise a mini humbucking pickup paired up to volume and tone controls so you can dial in just the right tone. We use traditional floating bridge layouts on our guitars and tune them to EBe.

We use quality hardware including alpha potentiometers, wax potted pickups and hardwearing output jacks.
